I am a Catholic but I want more of a Holy Contemporary English Bible? I just want to know if it's ok for me to get it.

Get the Duoay Rheims Version for authentic catholic version. I havent heard of the Holy Contemporary English Bible. If it is a protestant version, then some verses are not written aligned to the cannonized DRV, thus interpretations are twisted. So, get the authentic DRV Holy Bible.
